Nancy Lee received First Class Honours and a PhD in gender and cultural studies from the University of Sydney. She has taught undergraduate gender and cultural studies since 2011, and in 2013 received an award for Excellence in Teaching from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Sydney. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has written for Time Out Sydney, Australian Gourmet Traveller, Daily Life and Cosmopolitan Australia.
Vivienne Egan took gender studies at the University of Sydney as part of her BA in English and Linguistics. She has extensive experience teaching young people, teaching speech and drama, tutoring English and directing plays. She has worked in arts journalism, editing and PR, and has written a book about the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, all while travelling the world as a ‘digital nomad’.
